I've been offered the job at a media organisation in Bangkok.
When I asked for a contract, they sent me an offer letter with salary, holidays (2 weeks) and very brief job description. Is this standard in Thailand, or do you think that's a bit strange there is no contract?
I have had a lot of email contact with the boss over the past four months, but we have never spoken on the phone or met. They're just going off my email contact and CV. I am confident he's who he says he is, but just wondered if this is how things are usually done there - whether it's standard not to get a contract? How will I know my hours of work, notice period if I want to leave etc?
Please PM me for reply.
Thanks for your help.
