I'm in Krabi town for a couple of weeks. The cord on my netbook (eeepc 701) is frayed near the plug. I kept self-repairing but it's finally too much. Is there some repairer who can sort it for me? It's a proprietry plug and the fray is near the plug itself, plus another one halfway down the cord, so it's going to have to be opened up.
Thanks for any recommendation.

In the basement of the Vouge Department store there are several phone/electrical repair booths that might be able to help you.
Also along the same road as Vouge on the opposite side (turn left as you come out of Vouge) somewhere opposite Top Chareon Optical there a couple of pavement stalls doing phone repairs that might help or at least point you in the right direction. See the red arrows on map. Some time since I've been to Krabi but the info should still be good.
