Hi guys
I have a 10 year old Korean student who goes to an international school. He recently got moved down a year because his work wasnt upto scratch. He will be taking an exam to get him moved back up in a couple of weeks, was just wondering if anyone had any advice on what I might concentrate on...
I believe mathmatical word problems are going to be tested but anything else regarding esl I should focus on?

Take a look at his last report card and see in which areas he is weakest and concentrate on those.

Thanks Thats basically what Ive been doing but yesterday for example his homework, at 10 years old, was to answer questions such as "what does the word strength mean to you?" , I mean that really is quite hard even for native speakers to answer well, they really seem to push them in international schools. |
