hi guys, i,ve got the learning bug.

anyone have any experience with this association. I want to do a diploma in tesol by distance learning. fee is about 345 gbp (reasonable) and offers 50 percent discount on second application if 2 people apply together. (anyone interested pm me please)
i have been teaching fulltime for 3 years now and while i dont have a degree, i feel its important to try to improve on my academic credentials. i currently have the thai culture and ethics course cert., a tefl english cert., tefl business english cert, lcci business cert. and my high school diploma when i was 18.
do you think its a good idea to do this diploma. will it help with credits towards my teachers license if i do the 3 tests left suggested by MOE Thailand.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

One albeit an old link concerning your proposed course provider.

http://www.tefl.net/...php?t=1890&f=11

Why not  go back to  your own country and do a  proper accredited degree course or find  something from the O.U. in the U.K. ?

Your willingness to learn is sadly going down a dead end street, go to the known proven academic institutes, you won't regret it

To take the exams, you have to have a Bachelor's degree.

Sorry Scott I omitted the need for formal qualifications. I'm at a funny age.

No problem.  All these regulations and what applies to whom under what conditions and for how long, get rather confusing.  Then throw in the different ways they are enforced or not enforced.

I have a friend who is studying online with LTTC.

He has just finished the Diploma in TESOL. This the leads to the option of studying for an MA TESOL.

The two universities listed are both accredited. One in New Zealand and one in USA.
