I need a new battery for my iPhone 3GS. I am considering either having it replaced here, or ordering one from OWC but I worry about how much the import fees will be. If the batteries the shops use here are as good, it would obviously be more convenient to just have them do the swap for me. Surely the OWC batteries come from China just as the Thai ones do but the qualities could still be different.
From what I've heard, its about 1000b in Thailand but do they have a long life anything comparable to the originals? I know that the cheap Nokia replacement batteries are useless but they are considerably cheaper than these!

Surely, some others have had iPhone batteries replaced here? I had a problem with the battery of my newest version iPod Touch 64GB. It was still under warranty. I gave it to the Apple retailer at Tukcom in Pattaya who sent it to Apple in Bangkok. I received after 1 week a new iPod Touch. The battery of my new iPhone 4S is also draining always at a fast rate. But that seems to be a common problem. |
