Any ideas where I might find AAA lithium ion batteries NOT alkaline batteries?
I have an underwater camera which only works with these as it drains alkaline batteries very quickly...7-11 and Tesco only have alkaline batteries by Panasonic.
There are some rechargable Energizer ones which are Nickel metal Hydride but i want to hold off trying them because theyre expensive if they dont work.
The batteries that I have been using from the UK are Energizer Ultimate Lithium.

Obvious starting point for me would be the dive shops? Maybe the larger ones. Like the one on the other side of the road to Big C heading towards Bophut. Or down on the main road, opposite side to Bangkok Hospital, that kind of area. (Sorry, been a while since I was there!)

The Energyzer battery you describe is not a Lithium/Ion battery (rechargeable), but a Lithium/Iron Disulfide type of battery. It has excellent high-drain specs. Lithium/Ion is not the same, as it does poorly in high drain situations.
The problem is that in AAA size there are not too many types available, so I find it strange that your camera manufacturer opted to use that size of battery. Anyway here an overview what is available in AAA, and how good it should work in your camera: Chemistry; High discharge; recyceable; remark - Alkaline; Bad; No - High power alkaline; Good; No - Lithium/Iron Disulfide; Excellent; No; - Nickel/Metal/Hydride; Good; yes; May not work in your camera due to the lower voltage - Nickel/Cadmium; Poor; yes; May not work in your camera due to the lower voltage - Rechargeable Alkaline; Poor; yes Nickel/Zinc would actually be the best rechargeable option, but as far as I know it is not available in the AAA size. So I would try the NiMh first. If it works you have a very economical solution, because it is rechargeable. If it doesn't work find either Lithium (NOT Lithium/Ion) or High Power Alkaline non-reachargeable batteries. #4

how many AAA batteries is your camera using? if it is two ni-mh will work fine 2.4V instead of 3V, if it is using 4 batteries it might not work du to voltage difference 4.8v vs 6V.

I bought it in the US and I used it several times here in Thailand with the batteries supplied (Energizer Ultimate Lithium) and then they ran out. I purchased some normal Panasonic alkaline batteries in 7-11 and the mask didnt even turn on. I contacted the company as I thought the mask was broken and they said theyve had reports of the mask not working with anything but Lithium ion like the ones supplied, so I have to try these first to see if it is an issue with the mask or the batteries before I can claim on the warranty. The mask takes 4 x AAA. #6

Go for high power alkaline like 'Sony Stamina Platinum' or 'Panasonic Evolta' for affordable ok solution, or best would be to find the Lithium-Iron type like 'Energyzer Ultimate Lithium', but these cost at least THB 200 a pop. Just google, I am sure you can find online shops in Thailand that supply any of the above. RS-online has most types in stock, but think you need to be an account holder to purchase there. Otherwise just walk into electronics shop like the one opposite Tesco Chaweng a little towards the traffic light, or at the next trafficlights in the direction of Lamai, turn left and then immediately on your left hand side.
