I am getting married in december. I am having a traditional wedding in my fiance's village and need a photographer etc. Is there any wedding service companies/photographers that will do the job in a village about two hours drive away? From the city in Ubon.

Go to Peppers and ask the guy there.

Better to go to your nearest town of substance and ask at the shop displaying a Kodak sign. Unless you are wanting some classy shots you will find that all the journeymen photographers in the amphur towns are quite capable of giving reasonable results - weddings are bread and butter for them. I was amazed at how cheap the photographer and video cameraman was at our wedding in neighbouring SiSaket province (amphur Kantharralak) 30 months ago.

2 hours away from Ubon? What direction? As Santisuk suggests you might be better off asking in your nearest large town.

James Collister (member here) is your man for anything about Buntharik. I just re read you OP and noticed that you said you are getting married in December. Nothing wrong of course with getting things organised early but most small Thai companies or individuals will find it very hard to plan that far ahead!

He he - never a truer word...

We set ours up about a month in advance and my wife's family revisited all the suppliers 2 or 3 days beforehand. No problem with making an initial sortie now though - the last minute nature of everything in Thailand would have driven me wild if I was not a rather laid-back/shit-happens kind of guy.

I would guess you are going to need to look in Det Udom, though I don't know Buntharik. I did go to a TV member's stepdaughter's wedding about 20k west of Det a couple of years back. If you get stuck I could put you in touch.
