Maybe have a read through this thread, I recently tried to update the 3 major providers. http://www.thaivisa....-service-plans/
I think they all have 5 GB threshold packages so it's really a matter of your individual situation, equipment and location. We need to know what make, model equipment you have, where you are located, if you have voice and text requirements etc. At the 5 GB level they all offer "unlimited" usage above the threshold, albeit at 384 Kbps. http://www.truemove-...ay-topping.aspx http://www.ais.co.th...rnet-package/#2 http://www.happy.co....mid=265&lang=th They all seem to be 890-ish for 5 GB. Thanks.
My mobile is a sony ericsson x10 mini pro: 2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 3G Network HSDPA 900 / 2100 HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 Location will be BKK and Pattaya. I expect some but not extensive voice and text usage. Thanks. #29Posted 2012-02-09 19:12:27

I expect some but not extensive voice and text usage. Thanks. Since your phone operates on 850 Mhz 3G your choices are limited to TrueMove H and DTAC/Happy. Assuming you want 3G then TrueMove H may be your best choice as they appear to have extensive coverage in Pattaya while DTAC has a hole between Chnonburi and Rayong. Lompato: I think my x10MP is actually on the 900/2100 3G bands, please see posts #13 and #14.
In that case, AIS is the one to go with?. #32Posted 2012-02-10 10:30:02
Lompato: I think my x10MP is actually on the 900/2100 3G bands, please see posts #13 and #14. In that case, AIS is the one to go with?. OK, sorry. You listed: 3G Network HSDPA 900 / 2100 HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 and I only noticed the HSDPA 850, hence my recommendation. Since your listing is confusing; (HSDPA and 3G are generally the same thing spec. wise) with both 900 and 850 listed I'm not sure what to recommend. If your phone supports 900 Mhz 3G then your only option is AIS/One-2-Call. If your phone supports 850 Mhz 3G then TrueMove H may be the best opton as they have coverage in Bangkok and Pattaya, among many other locales. |
