Posting this on behalf of a friend.

She recently bought an iphone3g and confused about the call plan options.

True move seem to offer her two options; a pay as you go one (top up phone credit and top up data), or a call plan at around 1000 baht (calls, sms., mms, and data. She is on an "O"visa and seems she would need to get a residency certificate to have that option...?)

She heard AIS dont offer any good deals..not sure if correct or not.

Anyone have knowledge of other options and/or decent deals out there?

Thank you kindly.

Have a look at this one, http://www.truemove-...ult.aspx  these guys are as slimey as any company from the west so be careful. Otherwise, the last time I checked back in August, AIS did not support the 3G or 3GS since they operate on the 900 meg frequency and only support the 4G. I would be interested in hearing if the have changed that.

AIS will change the frequency in you sim so that the 3G works, and you keep you old phone numer. They can do this remotely. They also directed me to a shop that could trim the old sim and upload my contacts into the new phone.
