Recently relocated here and have a two and a half year old daughter. Looking to find a place for her, nursery or kindergarten locally. We are in Ao Nang, can anyone help with names, addresses, telephone numbers or other means to contact such establishments. So far we found one in Krabi town which was pretty expensive and probably too far away to travel to and from twice a day.

A Swiss woman called Karin runs a nursery near the shell fossil park. Take the final left before the park and go in about a kilometre.

There is the Nawattaphume International School Krabi located on the way from Klong Haeng to Klong Muang approx. 15 min drive from Ao Nang. The NSK is providing Montessor teaching during the kindergarden years. Call 075 644 097 for more information or http://www.montessori-lampang.com/. You find them on facebook, as well.

Yes thank you very much I know abt the Nawattaphume nursery, its about four times the price I was paying in Hua Hin for my daughters nursery there. And to go and come back twice every day from A Nang is not very easy. But thx for the heads up.

Hi I went down to the Fossil beach yesterday then came back and I think I found the soi where I was supposed to turn but after going down that soi for 2.5 kms it ended. I found no nursery just a Thai school and I did not find the lady Karin or anyone there who seemed to know her, can anyone help with this at all ? Maybe a more precise location or a contact telephone number ?

I found no nursery just a Thai school Just a thought..I think Karin used to help out at the horse riding place some time ago (if indeed it is the same Karin), may be worth calling in anyway to ask..on the same road from Ao Nammao to the Shell Beach, not far up on the right hand side near the border of Lampoe, probably still signposted to the horse riding stables but anyway the dirt track has a police box on the corner and leads down to the beach.
