Hi,
I'm trying to book a taxi from the airport to Samut Songkhram and I'm a little shocked at the prices I'm being quoted. So far I have quotes of 1800, 1900 and 2000 baht and I'm sure I should be able to get a taxi cheaper for a 120km journey. Don't really want to get the bus as I'll have just done an epic journey already.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

A person asks a question, to seek information. If you can't provide an answer in a civil manner or can't provide any helpful information, don't bother posting.

Why book a taxi. Just go up to the departures level and grab a nice looking newer taxi and use the meter - should cost around 800 baht not more than 1000 I would guesstimate.

Not all taxis drivers will want to do the trip but if you are arriving at a good time (in respect of taxi shift time, time of the day and peak hour) many will.
