Hi all,
I used to live in Thailand in the 80's and my family used to go to a resort called 'Golden Beach'. It was, I believe, east of Hat Jomtien. I've searched everywhere and think the resort must have changed it's name. If anyone knows the new name or know it's location it would be greatly appreciated! From your description it appears that you used to visit Bang Saray. But I cannot help you in respect of the 'Golden Beach Resort'.

You might be thinking of Hat Sai Thong closer to Rayong.

The Golden Beach Resort changed its name to Pinnacle Golden Beach Resort when it became part of the Pinnacle Hotels, Resorts & Spas Group.
It’s now called, Pinnacle Grand Jomtien Resort & Spa. #6
