I'm american and other than 6 nations, rugby is "GREEK" to me. Why does OZ use different scoring, 4 points try, 2 points conversion or penality? Just to be different?

The streaming on NFL Game Pass was far better than I expected due to my remote area and shitty internet connection. If something doesn't change before next season I'll sign up for the full package also.

This is because the 6 Nations is rugby UNION and the Australian coverage you refer to is rugby LEAGUE which is a variant of UNION.
It's great that they are showing rugby on Setanta and I couldn't care less about whether they show American (so called) sport as that serves no real interest to me and many non-Americans that have been brought up on REAL sport, I would imagine!!!!

I think the final day of the Las Vegas Sevens is on tonight live - in the small hours of the morning, actually, which will probably cheer you both up.  Its repeated on Monday evening at eleven, I think.

Congratulations to England on another hard-fought win in tough conditions.

I'll probably listen to the Warrington - London game in preference to the commentary from the Millenium Stadium.  I think that clashes
I expect you both will be looking ofrward to the 2013 World Cup, in England - USA were the final team to qualify, in Group D with Wales and the Cook Islands

Time now to start lobbying to get coverage on satellite...

EDIT: Americans might find rugby league more entertaining to watch (I think everyone finds it more entertaining at the ground, without a telephoto lens); the game was slightly simplified to make it more entertaining and easier to referee, in order to support a professional game.  The Americans simplified it further (emasculating the off-side and obstruction rules, unlimited interchanges, no need to ground a touch-down...) but that simplification actually made it more complicated...

I'm a BIG rugby league fan and avid supporter of Leeds Rhinos (just seen that we lost to Wigan which is rather disappointing)!!! I wish they would show 'Suoer league' in Thailand but fear that will never happen.

Astro Supersports showed the Grand Final last year.
In Dubai I used to get two superleague games a week, plus Challenge Cup from the semi final stage, I think.  Plus several NRL games.  Astro show about two, plus State of Origin and Four Nations... I'm not sure if True carry any of that.  I'm hoping for better coverage of this world cup than last.  I ended up sat in the Penalty Spot on Sukhumvit Road following the Fiji Scotland game on the lastest scores from the BBC...

I watched this year's Super Bowl live on TV at home in BKK via USTVNow.com's free subscription (ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox and PBS networks from a Pennsylvania cable feed).

Have/had NFL Game Rewind as a backup just in case there were any streaming problems... There weren't, and I watched from beginning to end without a hitch.

I watched SB on Game Pass, no problems with streaming even with my sh*tty internet conection.  7's final on Star Sports at 0240 in the morning, replay at 1030.

And 1 point for a field goal..
Watch English Superleague and it's played under the same rules.. Some of us were lucky enough to grow up watching only that version of the game.

Look on youtube for AMNRL. They are playing it in your part of the world too. Just without the crowds.

I believe USA and Italy were the two qualifiers for the World Cup next year...
