We are thinking of buying a new PVR and have been recommended these two models but I have a few questions that I can't seem to get answers to. Maybe someone here has experience with either of these models and can help me.
I have looked at a few websites and read user reviews but still can't decide which one to buy. At first I thought the Dreambox was too expensive but apparently the difference is only about 500 baht.
1. Is there a big difference in picture quality between these models?
2. I see that the Dreambox has a DVI output as opposed to the HDMI on the AllSat. I can't see that my TV (Panaosonic Plasmer TH42 something or other) has a DVI input. Can I buy an adaptor with loss of picture quality.
3. I read that Dreambox has overheating problems. Any experience there?
