Personally, I'd have changed names as well as countries but there you go. At least Mr P benefits from a semblance of recogniseable judicial procedure as he is not proclaimed to be guilty, sentenced and imprisoned. That only happens in this case to Ugandans. The word alegedly, allegedly, doesn't translate into Thailand. Although they do have a similar word which translates as ' falang guilty - how much in bank?'

Nothing is stated as to the ethnicty of Mr P. he could be black. Ugandans usually and expectedly are. Perhaps that is why they are lumped together in this totally unconnected, not in the remotest similar story of one drug offender and umpteen Ugandan prostitutes.

I expect that in Pattaya like Phuket, the Russians pay the tea money and are immune to prosecution. Also, they have white skin. The Thais never were one ones for hiding their disdain of a darker skin even amongst their kind; where to be dark is to be discriminated against and to be whiter is to be living in Bangkok, financially better off, more priviledged but still lacking education, wisdom or common sense. After all, they do believe that babies, dead ones, come back not only fluent in Thai aged 4 months but also predicting a dam busters event in Kanchanaburi. If that doesn't float your boat and it surely would, why not join the locals and look for the lottery numbers with talcum powder rubbed on the back of a passing monitor lizard?

Pattaya simply isn't ambitious enough! Why no hub of hubs? Why no International Film Festival of Porn made on every hand held device [accent on the word vice] onaa 24 hour walk on any of its city streets. How can anyone be anti-gay when you buy a condo and find the entire building is full of aged Europeans and their young male companions. At least the nightly screams are less high pitched and more easily contained. A gag also helps.

Am I correct in saying Pattaya now has it's own gag and whip shop next to McDonalds and Boots? It's a good employer as it has a creche on site for staff just above the Kattoy Bar. it's doing very well and has opened its doors to the public. Old men are allowed to stand and stare as the children, mainly under 3's, play. Perhaps they are wanting to volunteer their unique life time services? Who knows? Not the Police anyway unless there's a donation to the Policemen's Balls. The girls [and boys] who work the beaches usually contribute thier services while on short visits to the house on Beach Road that the Police call home.

All is well in Pattaya then. Alls well that ends well. The sooner it all ends the better. How low can the state of mankind sink if left to itself? We only have the decadence of Rome to compare Pattaya with but Rome was at least the centre of something. Pattaya remains a flaltulent hole where perverts are on parade, freaks frollic, steroid abusers  bulge the bicep whilst shrinking the scrotum, and petty criminaals legitimise themselves and ingratiate themselves into the local heirarchy by way of a life time grovelling and fawning. They must have come from some kind of sewer to see Pattaya as a Paradise. I find it incompehensible but then I don't belong to the Pattaya Members Club that makes the Masons seem like an Open Forum. One of the questions on the membership form for the Sunday morning meetings is 'when did you last stop beating your wife / boy friend / transexual partner / dog.  Dog is no longer on the list as the Thais viewed then all as dogs. there you go. it's a free world but not in Pattaya. Make that Thailand.

The thought Police of this board have gone all limp since the viagra wore off . However, they still model themselves on bodies further afield who act in all our interests leaving safer for being able to only speak the truth inside our own heads.

Was anything other than Pattaya ever further from the truth?

The Africans are not more expensive than the Thais, Just bargain.
The Africans I see and had contact with in lower Sukhumvit in Bangkok are better in bed as most Thai Girls, speak better English and I had never any trouble with them, cannot confirm your comment -Baerboxer-.
