Permanent residents of the United States ("Green Card" holders) do not require a visa to travel to Canada, unfortunately the same does not apply to UK ILR holders.  Your wife will require a Temporary Resident (Visitor) visa.

Unfortunately, that is correct about US green card, yet my wife, Canadian Immigrant, can’t travel to the US without a visa.  UK immigrant does require a Temp Visa.
