In January, True Visions included BBC Entertainment in it's package as a promotion to end on 5th. Feb. It did end on that day.  After which time, users would need to pay for the service as an 'a la carte' option.

It's tricky here in Laos, but I signed up for it and paid.  It still hasn't appeared and I wonder if the fact that they only announced it on our screens for 3 days meant that not enough people signed up to it to make it worthwhile for True Visions.

Are any of you getting BBC Entertainment?

Assuming you have a real subscription just call True visions customer care, follow the voice service guide to "change package' or something similar, ask the service rep to subscribe to "BBC Package" and they will activate it there and then, and check that it is available at your end. Cost 100/170 thb/month, I think depending what service you have now.

Edit..to add , you only pay for it when you receive the next monthly bill.

I was watching it last night so it is still being broadcast by True although I have an alternative means of viewing it.

Strike that, I've realised now you're asking about the specific channel BBC Entertainment, not the other BBC channels.

For some reason I could never get the new BBC a la carte programmes (Entertainment and childrens) although I can get all the other a la carte programming and the 2 BBC ones added to Platinum.

BBC Package, BBC Entertainment and CBeebies channels 149 and 150, definitely still available on TrueVisions.

I haven't watched television more than 1 hour in the past 3 and a half months, even though it is installed in my hotel room. The reason is that for the very few English channels offered it just isn't worth watching. True Visions sucks in so many ways I wouldn't waste the time mentioning them all.

This whole promotion has shown Truevision to be a total embarassment as a company.
I saw the rolling advert on the screen at the start of Jan and thought I'd get the missus to call them. They say all ok its ready to view. I check the channels and all I can get is the Knowledge one. Ok call again, the lady says you have to pay, I say no I am on gold package and according to your advert it says , 3 channels, Entertainment, Knowledge and the kids one. No she say you have to pay.
So I give up and just watch the Knowledge for the rest of the month, thinking I won't bother subscribing, thing is I am still able to watch it.
They truly are a joke but with no real competion what do you expect.

There's 4 channels actually, 2 on Platinum and 2 on 'a la carte'

I could get all 4 on my True Gold package but only the Platinum channels on my alternative box.

I have the gold package which seems to have Knowledge for free. I have to pay an extra 170 baht to get Cbeebies and Entertainment. But I have to upgrade to platinum and pay extra 100 baht to get Lifestyle and the other 3 channels. Crafty
