I can not get Radio 4 and Radio 5 to stream live programmes, it works for a few minutes then fails. This has been happening since Sunday.

I can listen to anything from the BBC using 'listen again' - but not 'live'.

BBC web pages talks about being aware of a problem but do not date their message.

I am wonder if it is my setup, Thailand or the BBC? Do others have the same problem?

No Problems streaming Radio 4 from BBC iPlayer for me (30 mins +). Plenty of other sources including listenlive.eu as mentioned or internet radio prog like Tapin Radio. (XPsp3 +FF 10)

Here's a link I used for years before BBC Radio Player, and it still works well as a back up. You have to use it in conjunction with Windows Media Player.

Another problem free way of listening to BBC radio programmes and others for free is at www.new.thelounge.com just click on the 'on demand' option on the left then search for the programme of your choice.

Thanks to all the comments, it must be something wrong with my setup.

Radiofeeds works fine for me, via VLC - I do not like media player.

yeah vlc quality little prog, have you tried nessing about with buffer times?
