Hi all,

I have been offered a job by a company in BKk....I need to get a NON B visa so that they can then apply for a work permit for me  What documents are needed from the employer to get a NON B ? I have read that a letter from the employer to the Embassy stating they want to hire me and they they will should be adequate. They also should gaurantee financial support  etc etc.

I have been told that the embassy in KL would be the best to apply at this time.
Any advise or guidance much appreciated

Thanks

No an Employer's Letter is not adequate, your employer must make the Work Permit application before you travel to KL.

Here is a link to the list of documents you will require in KL:

http://www.mfa.go.th...482.php?id=2492

At KL you can use the receipt for a succesful WP3 Work Permit application in lieu of the 'The Letter of Acceptance.'

If you are successful at KL, you will get a Single Entry 90 Day Non Immigrant B Visa which you can use, along with the 90 day Entry Stamp in your Passport to pick up your Work Permit from Labour
