Yeah, as above stated topic, can foreigners buy and own agriculture land in thailand? How much is needed for a typical size farm?

I guess the simple answer is: Cant own land. Any kind.
The way around: wife owns it.
The size: depends what you want to do, grow, rear.

That means you better be show of your partner first.
Size depends on where you are and what you will farm. Just remember the bigger it is the more headaches you have

And as was much talked before, be aware the different land titles, and the rights each gives you. they anything, but equal.

Howdy you really need to do your homework before posting this as this has been covered 500 different ways from sideways and back. Check all the old info available and then post a variant on the subjuect eith your personal wants wishes and questions but you aren't going to get too much info from others on this because we have covered this subject so many different times with newbies. We all were once so go to "pinned topics" subjects for help as a Newbie (this is one of the first 15 or so subjects available in this forum) and they have a section tho help you as a Newbie then research below that in the topics for more info that is available and then resubmit a new topic specific to your needs you will get a better response and hopefully the info you need. It is not the wife you have to trust, it his her extended family! Accidents happen. Let's also just say that your wife passes away and in the same month her mother was dying and needed an expensive operation, the family could sell the (your) land and save the mother in law or not? Of course you might want to save her. You probably would accuse me of being heartless ton even raise this but let's be honest, there are many people in this situation every day and most of us do not donate all our farm to help someone live abit longer but someone else's land maybe. Keep control of your assets is prudent in any country. I wonder if any research has been done to compare statistically the number of farang who trusted their wife with their money and regretted it. Would be statistically significant me thinks and none of them dreamt it would happen to them
