Just thought this might be a good place for people to see what is been organised around the island  to celebrate the only second such event in British history, offical date June 2nd to 5th.
Anyone planning an event?

I Know Martin personally, I was not looking for what the British Government might arrange locally,if they do I know I would be on the list.
I was just asking members what's is happening on the ground in their area.
In mine a local pub is going the whole 9 yards with a full on street party as an an example. BTW the whole 9 yards was the length of a machine gun belt of ammo as fitted to the spitfire, hurricane and P51 mustang WW2 figter planes.

The Royal Family in the UK are not worth bothering about, they are nothing but a bunch of parasites and free loaders, ex Prince Andrew uses taxpayers money to charter RAF helicopters to take him on a tour of golf courses, and the less said about his big brother the better.
