It will be if he can buy them @ B16,000

I refer you to the "dropped 1 baht do you pick it up" thread.
http://www.thaivisa....you-pick-it-up/

Not really a viable or sustainable way to make money due to infrequency of finding a dropped 1 baht coin or a 16,000b Corona.

I bought a Toyota Corona 1600 fitted with LPG from Ex Pat Motors in Bang Na about two years ago for 16000 Baht,

You should scrap it and pocket the profit!
SaNim. How much do you think the profit would be?

Not enough to buy a replacement.
I'm sorry, I meant 160.000Baht.

My wife has had a Nissan March for almost 2 years now ... Now problems, great gas mileage and the maintenance (oil change/ check up) is about half the cost of same thing at Toyota

Also insurance given by Nissan allows for repairs at dealership

I bought a Nissen BigM 2.5 litre diesel turbo pickup last year for 150k, 17 years old.
Repairs 6k in the past year. The extended cab can fit 5 people, and I can get another 15 people in the back.
Insurance 900bht, tax 900bht, diesel consumption 10km/l

Sorry, I don't know the price for an oil change as it hasn't run out of oil yet.

And in an accident it would smash your ECO cars into little bits of mashed plastic.
Beat that for value in a basic cheap car.

You do know oil needs to be changed regularly  to keep the engine running, do not you?!

Personally for value for money the Mitsubishi mirage beats them all. Space versus value then the Almera
