The TrueVisions on-line schedule does not appear to be very reliable, in particular for HD NFL football. Two or three times in the past week I have set "record" for games (on satellite channel 134), only to find that the actual recorded broadcast was tennis, auto racing, etc.

In one case (early Monday) I found the NFL game being shown at the right time, but on channel 135 (whose schedule showed something different).

Has anybody out there figured out how to find correct NFL HD showtimes and channels? The website schedule is even worse than the on-TV schedule.

And two follow-up questions:
-- is it possible to schedule recording purely by channel, start time, and duration?
-- is it possible to change the 10-second back jump and 30-second forward jump durations (those no-huddle offenses are killing me Posted Image )

Thanks in advance,
Retiree

Sounds like a great idea. Just how do you go about getting Astro in Thailand? Pm me if you can. I have lousy television programs where I am.

Dont worry. Its only American Football. Extremely turgid and boring games that seem to last forever and are packed full of ad breaks time outs etc.

Start watching a decent sport, like Rugby, or Premiership Football (sorry "soccer" as you call it, but we invented it so the real name is Football!!)

If you remember correctly the old school broke to into two schools of thought, one was soccer and one one was rugby. So yes like normal (can not agree on anything) you invented both of them.

I think the word soccer is a relatively modern description. Purists would say we have Football and Rugby Football....but who cares......both games far far ahead of that "gridiron" thing they love in USA!!

I can tell by the way things are going that it would be pointless for me to mention the inaccurate baseball times (eg Friday set PVR to record scheduled baseball, got beach volleyball).

Sigh ... as the original poster, is there any way I can put this thread out of its misery? It seems increasingly unlikely that anybody is interested in addressing the topic.
