Have a good friend here in Songkhla, Thailand who's come down with a serious
Liver problem, apparently partly brought on by hepatitis and aggravated by
moderate alcohol ingestion. He's in bad shape right now. Pumped him
full of chemicals at some Bangkok hospital. His condition is quite serious.
I've read all over the Net that "Milk Thistle" (Silymarin extract) might help in
alleviating the condition.
Am having a heck of a time trying to get the words "Milk Thistle" translated.
Getting all false leads or no results huntiong for days thru on-line Thai
dictionaries but mostly erroneous re-directs to all sorts of junk sites.
I'm hoping that someone at this forum with a decent English-Thai
dictionary could provide me with a quick translation so that I might
be able to search for this herb locally.
Any decent (non-quack) information and a translation greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Jed...
