Hi --

I'm not sure which section of the forum this belongs in, so I apologize in advance if it's in the wrong place. I wonder if anyone could translate the writings at the bottom of this image, I would appreciate it very much. Thanks!

Certainly doesnt look thai, maybe ask a mod to move this to the thai language section, you will probably get a better response there :o

Script is not modern Thai, perhaps older Lanna script or older Lao script.  Looks like template for traditional Thai tattoo.

It is not Thai, it is an old style of Khmer, if you want to ask a Thai person about it they will possibly know it as 'Korm'. Agood place to start your homework is this website below.

http://www.mon-khmer.com/

It is certainly a tattoo for strength, power and protection, But you know this already.

Sorry i cant be more help.

If you really want to know, whatever it takes, I suggest you travel to Surin province. There are many Khmers living there, the best way to go is to track down old monks or elders. They have reputation in this kind of thing.

Looks like the work of tattoo master Ajahn Noo, and yes it's khom. You could go to his place in Pathum Thani, or send an email via www.arjannoo.com.
