You might want to try the following:

QBE Insurance 02 651 8800
IAG Insurance 02 207 0266
Safety Insurance 02 257 8400

If they can't help, you might want to contact a broker:

Marsh PB 02 261 0200
Trafalgar International: 02 645 1170
Jardine Lloyd Thompson 02 655 2500

An alternative to specific golf insurance, if you have a renter's or homeowner's policy, is to make sure your golf equipment is scheduled for coverage and that the liability coverage is extended to apply outside the insured premises.   No hole in one cover under this option, however.

Good luck.

The only golf insurance I know of is to find a caddy that can't count too well and can't add. She should also be able to swim well and carry a machete to help her find your ball when it goes in the jungle.

If you happen to be a resident in HK, Winterthur is offering free golf insurance at

http://www.winterthu....asp?sourceid=4

The coverage isn't great, but as the premium is nada, it's a bargain.

HSBC in HK also does a package - it was offered to me when I joined the Macau Golf Club, so they may well offer policies outside of HK.

To those not in the know, golf insurance basically covers:

Extra liability insurance on the course.
Extra personal injury insurance on the course.
Club insurance (eg for clubs in transit).
Hole-in-one cover to pay you back for having to buy everyone a drink in the clubhouse! Hmm...the nearest I've had to an Ace was a vicious slice that almost went into the hole on another green...

Anyway, not much that can't be covered on your main policy.
