What they call "Travel Clinic" is really just a system of preferred treatment for foreigners (at a higher price, of course) in the OPD of the Hospital for Tropical Diseases.
Do not expect any of the amenities of the posh international hospitals like Bumrungrad or Samitivej. Prices are obviously a lot cheaper than there. The standard of medical care is quite high but this is a Thai government hospital, after all. Do not expect batteries of tests for all possibilities like in the US (like the CT scan Bangkok Hospital did for diarrhea). They do a good job with limited resources. The doctors there speak very good English, the nurses and administrative staff very little. Better bring a Thai speaker.
