I have been in BKK and Pattaya for over 5 years now and never ever felt cold. There were perhaps a handful of occasions when I felt sort of cool I guess. I've never worn a long sleeve shirt here ever, maybe I brought one from US and have it somewhere.

Btw way never said cold, late one night on a bike it felt a little chilly, plus i spend most of my time in aircon venus, so wearing a thin long sleved jumper, is not to hot. hhhmmmm let me think of a word....MUPPETS. Edited by summerT, 2006-11-04 14:47:45. #55Posted 2006-11-04 15:07:56

I saw some 'booty-style' furry slippers, in the Soi Bukhaew market on Friday; they would go well with a pullover and woollen mittens for the Pattaya 'winter'. I hope this helps.

Actually I live 60km southwest of Khampaeng Phet near the Mae Wong national park and it is getting a bit colder at night now. Last night it was down to about 20 and the family are starting to huddle up in jumpers etc but no fashion out in the boonies. We dress to keep warm. In the next few weeks we will have a fire burning at night and sometimes in the morning. I have been in Thailand for around 5 years now and I must be getting acclimatised as I feel a bit cold at night especially when the wind blows.

Makes newbies feel uneasy posting on the forums, worrying someone will bite their head off if something is spelt wrong. Yuk. Y'all must have pretty boring lives if this is all you have to do all day. #69Posted 2006-11-05 22:59:25

Teach yourself to knit, it'll give you something to do on those long, cold winter nights
