Over 1 million krathong retrieved by BMA officials
BANGKOK: -- Bangkok city officials retrieved over 1 million krathong or floats from the river, canals, and ponds in the capital Monday morning, a deputy Bangkok city clerk said.
Anan Siripassaraporn said the retrieving was carried out after midnight until 6 am.
A total of 1,004,552 krathong were retrieved, which were about 200,000 less than last year.
