Many people still engaged in the Loy Krathong Festival in Bangkok yesterday even though jovial activities were called off due to the inundated situations in many areas.
The locals and the tourists were enjoying the festival especially along Chao Phraya River and in Lumpini Park. The festival in Lumpini consisted of many interesting shows and activities as well as the Nang Noppamas Beauty Contest.
Moreover, a fund-raising activity was conducted to help aid the people who have been hit by flood.
20 electrical boats were also magnificently displayed to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne.
The event was decorated with colourful lights, replica of flowers, and butterflies.
