Visa On Arrival

Hi, Im a little rusty on formalities forgive me. Im due to travel to Thailand 1st week in April for 3 weeks and it just occured to me if i need to apply for a visa from the UK before hand, or may I just arrive in Thailand as its only a short period of time and receive a VOA (visa on arrival)?
Are these visa's still available or has it been phased out already? Thanks very much

Does anyone here have any knowledge/experience in shipping personal assets such as clothes, furniture, push bike, TV, etc to UK.
Im trying to find the most economic way to get my things back home. I have 2 friends carrying bags of clothes back for me, but im still stuck with allot of items in the home that im not sure what to do with. I have started selling some stuff on the 2nd hand market but it would be impossible to sell all. Any help would be appreciated shipping company's etc? Thanks
