I have never posted in the western food thread, but today I feel I need a change. I made a couple of hotdogs today, and I immediate went for boring old mustard and mayo. What has happened to me? I used to be so creative; with the chopped onions, assorted cheeses, hot sauces, relishes, salsa and guacamole, Chili, toasted buns and so on. Furthermore, I realized I am in Thailand, and hot dogs are one of the few western foods that are readily available almost everywhere. There must be some really great local tricks to put some life in the ole tube steak.
So how about it, what is new in wiener fusion? Who's got the ultimate banger blend? Have you taken the frankfurter further? And what really is the best for my wurst? Don't focus only on bun centered unions, all sausage solutions will be considered.

Convert A Stepthrough Bike Into Mountain Crawler
2012-04-09 16:50:58
Now that I a live up in the sticks, I can see that a lot of guys have modified there Honda Dreams and other bikes into more rugged all terrain type bikes. I have a crossover bike for myself and it suits me fine, but the rest of the crew here are a bit short for it and I don't fancy them dumping my bike all the time. If I want to hit a trail I have to do it myself and that is less fun too.
Anyhow, what would be my best starting point, start from scratch? which bike? Maybe just buy one already done?
Any experience out there?

Alas My Poor Old Motherboard Has Died
2012-03-30 08:44:25
On a restart last night, my monitor showed no signs of life, as my tower started up. The hard drive light showed activity, but then three loud beeps from the tower signified to me a critical issue has occurred. I can't get to a computer store too easily, I live up in the sticks and Chiang Rai would be my nearest big center (1.5 hours away).
Is there any thing I can do to confirm my diagnosis before I take a trip. The motherboard was a fairly nice ASUS With a dual core intel chip (can't remember the specs off hand but it is now 4 years old.
If it is truly dead, I guess I need to decide what I want next. Laptop or another tower. And I have lost all knowledge of the current processors and internals and what is considered good these days..

Spell Check Won'T Work For Thai Visa
2012-03-27 07:18:46
It is very frustraing to me that spell checker no longer works on Thai visa. I have gotten used to using a spell checker and I generally make a lot of mistakes on a first run. The spell checker appears to be working fine for me on other sites. I am using firefox 11 on windows 7
Is It Legal To Own Or Keep A Civet
2012-02-23 19:59:40
I was just wondering if there are any laws against keeping a civet. A guy I know has one, but I am not sure if it is legal. He got it of another guy and apparently it has been a pet since it was born 2 years ago. I think he wants to feed it coffee and sell the poop.
