I like to save some of the videos that I watch from the net and usually can do this
easily by going to the Cache of my browser which is Firefox.
The location is ..
Index of file:///C:/Documents and Settings/nnn/Local Settings/Application Data/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/mlzp5dob.default/Cache
I can usually find the file that I have watched and copy it to my video folder.
But sometimes this does not work because the cache stops saving the viewed videos.
I don't understand how to turn this on and/or off or why it stops saving
the viewed files [it saves everything the screen shows in addition to the videos]
I have a similar problem with IE doing this.
Does anyone know how to control this valuable action ?
I have tried warm and cold reboots and it does not clear the problem.
There is plenty of disc allocation available so its not memory limitations.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Mp3 Internal File Volume Level
2011-07-07 15:10:45
I have a number of old mp3's that I love, but the volume levels
are too low for playing in certain situations
I am looking for a program which can modify the file
to increase the output volume level for situations
where the hardware sound system can not compensate
for the weak signal.
Any recommendation will be appreciated

Strange Annoying Torrent Problem
2011-02-12 09:45:49
I have experienced an annoying torrent download problem
I got a torrent for Hawai 5O pilot episode.
It immediately found some 20 peers and was roaring at
300+ KB/sec. Then at about 32% complete it shut off.
The peers were still there but EVERY one stopped sending.
I then tried another 3 episodes and the exact same thing
happened. All three were roaring away with tons of peers and
then one by one they stopped; all of them having completed
32 to 35% of the job.
Do I have a switch set incorrectly ?
Is True shutting me down ?
I am encrypted and so are all the peers according to the flags.
Any insight is appreciated
Thank you

Backing Up Your Data
2011-01-09 13:34:27
I have been burned by disc failure many times now and
have lost data. Fortunately it has never been critical data.
So now, every time I save a file, I do it three times
to different discs. But this is beginning to be a real nuisance.
I know there is mirroring and synching but I do not know
what SW there is to do this.
What do you suggest for an XPWin system for backing up
dynamically when I save a file ?
What are you doing to safeguard your data ?
Thanks

90 Day By Mail
2011-01-09 13:27:23
I just attempted my first 90 day report by mail this week.
I am wondering what others have experienced doing this.
Is it working like clockwork for you ?
For how long ?
Others having problems of some kind ?
Delays ?
Rejections ?
Had to give up and go back to reporting in person ?
Also, I know there are many who do no reporting at all
even though long time residents with 1 yr visas.
What is the penalty if one is caught after not reporting
for 1 or more years ?
Is there a maximum penalty ?
Can one lose their visa privledges altogether ?
Thanks for the info .... appreciated
