BANGKOK, Sept 30 Police Chief Pol Gen Wichean Potephosree asserted Thursday that police have found DNA evidence linking some politicians to the series of bombings.
Following a security meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban, Gen Wichean said that the police currently had DNA evidence to probe some politicians behind several bombings.
However, the police chief declined to reveal their names as earlier being sought by opposition Puea Thai Party.

Why oh why do we find an above average amount of people in function in Thailand who suffer of the foot-in-mouth disease.
The DNA evidence obviously point to ... nothing much really. At the most it shows it's probably from a group of people seen as Thai. You need to correlate with other DNA in order to say more. The other DNA needs to be uniquely identified to be of use.
I guess the statement of Police Chief Pol. Gen. Wichean only means it wasn't me

Yep-MP's are running around Bangkok throwing grenades and they have the infamous DNA evidence. I am so tired of of this trash talk. Who believes this stuff and the idiots who put it out on the news. I for one do not. Propaganda

I notice the house of the parents of the first person to state Bangkok would see a wave of bombings burned yesterday.
"House of Jakrapop's parents damaged in fire
The house of the parents of fugitive former PM's Office minister Jakrapop Penkair was damaged in a fire Tuesday afternoon.
The fire broke out on the second floor of the two-storey house of Jamnong Penkair and Natthawan Penkair on Soi Phaholyothin 56 in Bangkok's Saimai district at 1 pm.
Fire fighters took about half an hour to control the blaze which engulfed the second floor.
Officials suspected the fire was caused by short circuit."

Note: I read somewhere that the fire started in the 'Buddha room' on the second floor. Such a room would have lights on in the night and sometimes candles lit.
Probe still underway for fire at UDD leader Jakrapop´s parent´s house
BANGKOK, 30 September 2010 (NNT) — Sai Mai police are still waiting for reports from the forensic department relative to the cause of fire that burnt down the house of the parents of one of the United Front of Democracy Against Dictatorship (UDD) leaders, Jakrapob Penkair, two days ago.
Authorities said the damage to the house was estimated at one million baht. Forensic experts suspected that the fire was caused by either a short circuit or arson. Police said more evidence was needed before they could reach conclusion on the cause of the fire.
UDD Core Leader Jakrapob Penkair said in his announcement that the 44-year-old house was built by his hard-earned money.
Fortunately, nobody was hurt in the fire. He did not know whether the house was torched or burnt down by accident.
Jakrapop, a former minister during the Thaksin Shinawatara's administration, thanked the red-shirt for their moral support and warned them to be on alert at all times, saying something like this could happen to anyone fighting for democracy.

No think too much. It is just an accident. Nothing more.
(accidental combustion of bomb making materials, perhaps?)

HUman rights abuser Praytuth was always in line to succeed the corrupted Anupong. Let's see he will say just like he predecessors that he stays out of politics. Until of course the elite will get under in another election than he will pump up the numbers of coups. He will probably caught with his hands in the cooky jar soon, just as Sondhi with his outrageous aircraft carrier without airplanes (at least he can live off the kickbacks) or the balloon of Anupong. (I think that as soon as Anupong is gone his nickname will be "the balloon", or the "The bomb scanner". The seller of the balloon (Zeppelin) must be still laughing about so much stupidity. The terrorists in the south see the balloon coming from 20 kilometer. Anupon neer hear of a drone. Just like Prayuth never heard of the international court of justice in which he will eventually end up, just as Sondhi for the mosque murders.
The fact that there is even a front page article in the newspapers about the fact that this person becomes the new chief (The Democrat party needed to act swift before they get disbanded) shows that thailand is in deep trouble. The appointment of an army general in a democratic country should not be bigger news as the opening of a new supermarket.
