San Sai residents no longer have to travel out to Nimmanhaemin to enjoy a healthy, delicious, made-to-order salad. Similar, but different from the infamous A Salad Concept, the new Coco Salad restaurant opened a few weeks ago at the Mee Chok shopping center. It is located on the second floor of the new building.
Coco Salad offers a list at each table that customers can fill out for a made-to-order salad. They also have menu items which include spaghetti and meat balls, and other hot choices. What is different from A Salad Concept regarding the made-to-order salad is that one can choose up to 8 items plus homemade dressing for 70 baht with the list including 6 different types of lettuce. Therefore if there is a type of lettuce that you do not want, it can be avoided, or if there is one or more that you want exclusively, you have the choice. For the dressing, I highly recommend the 'balsamic Creamy' - it's outstanding.
They are open 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily.

Non-O Extension - New Procedure
2011-02-16 15:06:19
I have been extending my stay now for 3 years and this is the first time that I have encountered being photographed with my family via a webcam by the immigration officer during the interview process. The photo, along with personal details about me copied from my TM7 and passport, were uploaded to the Royal Thai Police website. Has anyone else experienced this with other non-immigrant visa applications or extension of stays?
New Vietnamese Restaurant In San Sai

Fantastic, reasonably priced Vietnamese food. The name is My Vietnamese Food Nong Khai Naemnueng and it's located on the second floor of the recently completed complex next to the new McDonalds at Meechok Plaza (Ring Road 1 at Chiangmai-Maejo Rd.).
FINALLY we are getting some good choices of restaurants in San Sai. Kelly's is great as was Pratties (also in Meechok Plaza), and now we have really good Vietnamese food available.
The website for the restaurant is http://myvietnamesefood.com/.

Christmas Dinner 2010
2010-12-07 08:42:58
I have been researching the available lunch/dinner fare this holiday season. Thanksgiving provided many venues of buffet/sit-down lunch and dinner choices that were reasonably priced (although some did not provide a carved turkey, but merely turkey parts, thereby limiting ones choice to dry white meat).
Now that Christmas is approaching prices at the most popular places have more than doubled. Are there any reasonably priced choices which include a real (whole) carved turkey as part of the celebration?
