I did my request to extend my Non-O extension (marriage based) on end of October, at Chaeng Wattana.
Now, I should go there again on November 17th to know the result (hopefully positive! ).
As it seems it's still flooded around there, anyone knows if I could go to get my stamp at Suan Plu instead..? Will they have access to my deposited file from there ?

since I came back to Thailand almost 2 weeks ago, the Forum is pretty slow, and most images, including emoticons & avatars, aren't loaded.
It seems to getting slightly better as today I got about 10 or 20% of images loading.

I'm using Firefox 3.6, but I just check with IE9 & Chrome and got the same result.

Is it because the Forum is overcrowded ?

Note: a search with "image loading" didn't return anything...

last year, I had to wait 7 days between my renewal interview and getting the new stamp in my passport for my O marriage visa extension.

This year, I'll be on trip back to my home country, and I'll be back to Thailand only 7 days before the end of my extension, and will be able to go to immigration only the following day, i.e. 6 days before my extension ends.

Will it be ok ? Or will I face any problem ?

I found in another topic I should be able to go any time during the 30-day period before it ends, but I'd like to confirm that, as I wonder what will happen during the 1 day my extension will be over and I will still not have the new one.

I'm French and currently on a tourist visa that I'll have to extend at end of this month.

I'm currently waiting a certificate from French Embassy that will allow me to get married at a Thai district.
This paper should arrive around mid-July.
So at this time, if I get the standard 30-day extension on my current visa, I'll have only 2 weeks left on my visa, so I could go to immigration only about 1 week or 10 days before its end to change it to a Visa O and do the marriage based extension. But I have read in these forum that it usually requires to have at least 21 days left on the allowed stay to do all of this.

So here my question :
is it possible to ask more than the standard 30-day extension for my current visa, something like 60 days ?
And more important, is it possible Thai immigration will accept to provide it ?
If yes, what kind of document should I show to them ? So far, French Embassy didn't give me any receipt or anything else.

My fiancée tried to phone to Bangkok Immigration a couple of times, but no one answered...

My guess is that I have to book a plane ticket to KL, and request a non-O at Thai embassy there, but I'd really prefer to save myself the trip...

Any info is welcome..!
