When I travel to the UK with just my wife and daughter they tell me to use the short British National queue, but this time will be taking her mother and father. Does anyone know if we should all get in the National queue or do I send them alone to the alien queue?

I have a friend who's partner despite having had 3 previous visits to the U.K. for 6 months at a time, has just been refused this years visitor visa. The reason being she was not well so he took her to his G.P. his G.P understood she spent 6 months of every year in the U.K. and told him she was a temporay resident so had him fill out some forms and was given a national health number. She was precribed medicine which he paid for. She was also taken to an emergency room on another occasion. Also in the application they included a T.B test (required for settlement) but realised they would not be able to do 6 months in each country if they applied for this type of visa.
So the embassy are not happy that she has a national health number she is not entitled too and a T.B. test leads them to believe that at some point she may have been planning not to return to Thailand.
How can he sought this mess out? He is getting on in years so its difficult to get accurate info.
If he did apply for a settlement visa how many months a year would she be able to return to Thailand?
Please any helpful info would be grateful.

We have 78 rai of rubber near Ubon over 8 years old, the full 78 Rai are not producing yet but my wife just told me before rainy season comes we will need 4 trucks of fertiliser (bullshit) at 21,000 baht per truck (84,000 total) and a little later will require 1 bag of chemical fertiliser per rai at 800 baht a bag (62,000 total). Last month profit was 60,000 baht but not all are yet producing. Next year my father in law tells me all should be ready to tap.
I was just wondering weather these costs sound about normal?

On my last extension I kept the money in for 90 days as it seemed unclear to me but I asked at the local office when I extended and was told 90 days first time you extend and 60 days after that. This time a friend has gone with his money in the bank for 60 days as he did last and been told the rules changed this month and it is now 90 days.
Anyone point to the relevent rule change? or is this just another officer's interpretation and a little fib to save face.

Need some expert help here on Koh Chang. The retaining wall built last year has failed in the recent torrential rain, my home is in danger of collapse. Now short on funds and need real expert advice for how to build a retaining wall correctly so that the river does not encrouch any further. Please anyone who can help please PM me.
