Taking Your Kids Back To England

Does anyone have any useful advise for repatriation back to the UK. Have a little lad 6 years old and want to take him and my wife back to UK to live. Concerned about schools and his english skills. Sad but true gong to have to leave Thailand because its just too dam_n hard staying here now. I am not an oldie so need to get work back in the UK because there is nothing here and believe me I have tried a few things. Useful advise please not the usual snide remarks. Thanks

Dark Side Bookshop

Just stopped into a new second hand bookshop down soi Khao noi, run by an set up by an English fella and run by his wife,
Star books (I think it's a bit of a Starbucks joke). Not a massive amount of books but seems to have the most popular authors covered.
the decors done nice and there is a very pleasant readers garden at the back with WiFi access that's free to use (well buy a coffee).
They told me that they have all the books published online so if you are after something you can check to see if they have it from home....

Election Day Pattaya 3 July

I was told the bars had to be shut 6pm Sat to midnight Sunday for the pre election and the forthcoming election. What time do the polls actually close? If its 6pm Sunday then can anyone clarify why the ban on alcohol sales continues through to midnight or are the bars allowed to reopen at 6pm? Before someone jumps in and accuses me of being an alcoholic, I would like to know as I have a vested interest and NOT because I need a drink.

Sewerage

Hi is there anyone out there that knows of a company that specialises in clearing blocked sewerage outflow pipes from the septic tank. All I am getting from local builders is that the whole floor has to be dug up and the pipe replaced. I know this is not the UK but normally someone like Dynorod would do this, I am after a similar here in Pattaya. Maybe asking too much. Any assistance would be appreciated.
