In Topic: What Is The Pattaya "Dark Side"
2012-05-24 10:31:16
For me Darkside has been home for 10 yrs. It has changed immensely since then but I still enjoy what it has to offer. Frankly, I have no interest in the hole in the wall bars and all the useless banter that comes with it. However, I do enjoy the more natural surroundings of the area ( not busy soi nerm plub waan/kao noi or kao thalo), bike rides, cross country running, motorcross, fast access to motorway, lakes, golf courses, more and more varied restaurants, wider plots of land, lack of 2 week idiots who feel they know all and are rude. If you live here, you have access to everything Pattaya has to offer, when and if you want it, without having to face the ugliness of it 24 hrs a day. Sadly, as it happens everywhere, this will change with time....then it will be time to move somewhere else!

Raro, if I was you, I would look into the new PCX coming out. It is a much smoother and better ride, although more expensive. They are also bigger and more comfortable the Nuouvos or Clicks. The price tag is slightly bigger but you do get a lot more bike for your money and it could last you, hassle free for many years to come. I think you would score some points with the ball and chain as well. Happy riding! The leg over on the Nuouvo and limited leg space on the click becomes bothersome in the long run.

I know a few as well and the basic reasons for moving were due to sharp increases in prices in daily living, food, real estate and lack of beautiful/easily atainable younger women.

Central was my first stop but sadly they don't have it there either. I also tried Boots, Fascino, Homepro....none of them sell such a product.
