Hi all,
I have a replacement headlamp set for my PCX that is HID Bi-Xenon. Loads of bits and no instructions. I have printed a diagram off the net and could probably bungle my way through it, but in this heat the last thing I want to be doing is crawling around on my hands and knees b*ggering about with wires. Does anyone know a competent auto electrician likely to take the job on - preferably city centre or San Sai?
With thanks in advance,
Pikey.

Casio G-Shock Watch Repair In Cm - Where?
2012-04-16 11:26:01
After just over a year of wear, the rubber strap on my G-shock just decided to snap this morning. I thought these watches were supposed to be "rugged"? Anyway the watch was bought at the watch fair in Robinsons Central and will be heading back there today but does anyone know definitively where I can get a replacement strap? Google has failed to turn up a Casio service centre or the like in CM. BTW, it's not your run of the mill G-Shock, rather a Giez model that Mrs Pikey spunked a not insignificant amount of cash on for my birthday so any old rubber strap will not do.

Ais 3G Wifi Router - Don'T Get Caught Out
2012-02-05 12:05:00
So, unable to get regular internet at my location outside of Chiang Mai, I am using a 3G sim card from AIS via a WiFi router. This costs a fixed price of 599thb/month and suited my needs fine so imagine my horror and disgust when this month's bill hit the mat at 2,193 thb. Urk!!!
I went to AIS HQ here and was told that my promotional plan had ended on 27th December. So, no letter, no nothing, AIS just stuck me on the default rate and my PCs and dreambox merrily gobbled their way through over 2ks worth of data without my knowledge. The AIS lady said something about sending an SMS but being as the sim card is in the router, I'd never see an SMS anyway. So, any of you others with a similar setup - check your plan and don't get caught out like I unwittingly did.
BTW, new plan available is 799thb/month and is for unlimited data.
Cheers,
Pikey.

Suspension/Handling On A Stock Er6

Hi all
Where Did Discovery Turbo Go?
2011-07-13 16:17:00
Not sure if I am allowed to post this here but here goes anyway. Since True introduced their HD channels on monday night @ midnight, my "bolt-on" extra Discovery & HBO packages have disappeared with just a message saying "this service does not send a signal" for each channel. I am running a Dreambox & web connection so assume this is where the problem lies. A mate in Korat (I am in Chiang Mai) reports the same. Any ideas?
Cheers,
Pikey.
