You need a membership card (B400 per year) then you can borrow 4 DVD's per week from 250 different ones displayed out of 1000 each week at their Sunday Morning PCEC (Pattaya City Expat Club) 9am at Tavern By the Sea. Hawaii Bob has another 2500 movies in his collection available on advance order also N/C.
Stop by, make new friends meet old friends but do stop by

1. All participants will be charged 199B for entering the contest.
2. 6-7 participants will be suitable for the size of our venue, sign up here or email HawaiiBob.
3. Sign in from 6:00 - 6:30 Participants will have 1 hour and 30 minutes (6:30pm-8pm) to eat as much as they can including the crust.
4. We will keep record of how many pieces each contestant has eaten on a board.
4. The contest will be held in front patio of the cafe and pizzas for the contestants will be separate from the Saturday Pizza Buffet so we will not be bothering other regular customers.
5. The awards for the winners are:

1st prize : A voucher allowing the winner to enjoy our pizza buffet for free for 5 times on 2 conditions;   1. The winner must bring at least a friend and the friend(s) must pay the regular price of B199, of course.
                  2. The voucher is valid within the month of October.

2nd prize : Same as 1st prize but for only 3 times.
3nd prize : Same as 1st prize but for only 1 time.

All contestants will receive a complementary jar of salsa and Jalapenos from Pattaya Pickle Company, the  company that provides those ingredients for Loaf's Mexican Pizza.

Loaf is located on soi Lenkee behind the 7-11 that is on the corner. It is Pizza buffet night so come enjoy some pizza yourself and cheer on the contestants.

The judges will be members of the Frugal Freddy dinner group.

A couple of weeks ago the Frugal Freddy group held their weekly Monday evening dinner night at "Loaf" Pizzeria and Bakery on Soi Lenkee. 40 members filled the place and Uthai (the owner) put out a "all you can eat" Pizza buffet for us at B199. There were over a dozen  kind of pizza's on offer with many unusual varieties like "Greek" with feta cheese and spinach or "Mexican" made with Charizo, Jalapenos, and Cheddar Cheese. (my favorite)

We took a survey of the members asking them what was their favorite pizzeria in Pattaya, all but 3 members overwhelmingly choose "Loaf".
Uthai now has covered the Patio area so all 40+ seats are under cover from rain and sun with a dozen seats inside the A/C portion.

Wednesday and Saturday feature the pizza buffet for only B199 and on Saturday the 24th the Frugal Freddy Group will be supervising a Pizza eating contest with the winner's picture and record number of slices to be posted on  the wall of fame.

I know back in US if a car gets flooded it often is called a "total" because of damage and smell, what happens here?

I decided to try to get it done in the afternoon instead of a early morning visit. I usually went at 8:30am and it usually took 2.0 to 2.5 hours. This time I arrived at 2:40 walked up to the counter to see what ticket I needed and one of the immigration officers came from behind his desk took wife (PI)and I and led us to his desk, looked over our paperwork (I have copier and printer at home) that we prepared the night before, everything in order except 2 more pages from wife's passport needed copy, she dashed out and back in 5 minutes. Stamp, stamp, stamp pay the fee (B1900 ea.) move over to other desk (no wait) check everything give us a ticket, come back tomorrow PM to pick up your passports.

I also wanted to get re-entry permit at same time but was told get it tomorrow after picking up passport. Never again will I go at 8:30, I brought a book to read as usual but never had time to even open it. LOL
