I got the exact same cable you are looking for the small I.T. shop opposite the rear entrance to Tukcom.

I only have one simple rule, I imagine everyone else on the road is trying to kill me.
In Topic: Why Are Temples And Buddhas Placed On Hilltops

Thanks for the replies so far, Fabianfred, the point about reverence never even crossed my mind, I was thinking maybe it is symbolic of a phase in the life of Buddha, reverence certainly seems to make sense.
If I could be more specific, I'm more interested in the reason why the Buddha Statues are on hilltops, I recently visited the Buddha on the hill at Pattaya, it crossed my mind that whilst traveling around Thailand I have noticed many similar Buddha statues on a hilltop or high on a hillside.
I was writing a post for my blog about the Buddha on the hill, and I thought it would nice to explain why the Buddha is on the hilltop.

Very hard finding places to go with children in Pattaya, I suggest you go Khao Kheow Open Zoo ( 30-40 minute drive ), Nong Nooch Gardens, or the beaches north or south of Pattaya, better for children cos they are not so crowded. Wiggle Town is okay but it's expensive, small, and often feels like you are intruding upon a mothers meeting. Nice swimming pools at the Hard Rock Hotel, Mikes Mall (on the roof) or Pattaya Water Park in Jomtien.

try Pinky and Jimmys on Pattaya Thai next to Seat boat and near Big C
i bought a Lotus brand from there for 7,800 for the guest bedroom
i bought a Slumberland from Homeworks for me for 18,000
one very uncomfortable night later, the mattresses were switched over and i have been on the Lotus for 2 years now
i vowed there and then not to buy by brand name alone again
on this subject, had anyone ever seen a mattress anywhere in the world NOT being sold at a discount?

Yeah I agree Pinky Jimmy's is good, shopped around for furniture many times and found it cheaper at Pinky Jimmy's. On the subject of mattresses I just bought a bed and mattress on South Pattaya Road, coming from Sukhumvit it's on the left side maybe a hundred meters before Pinky Jimmy's. Been shopping for days before landing there, should have gone there first, decent choice of beds and mattresses and they know what they are talking about, also open to discount, and a great service, highly recommend them.
