That's the main issue with freelancers as most advertise they have full credentials to do something but in the end they can't
Ain't that the truth! Almost 8 years online and not a single recommendation. And even when you do find someone who's competent, most overshoot their deadlines by weeks, or months even, on larger dynamic projects, and guess what? Paying higher prices doesn't always guarantee you a better job.

Anyhow, are you looking for free or paid service?
Oh I always pay for services and mostly pay for products. Can't be doing with owing favours to anyone for anything ;)

doesn't vB provide tech support ?
Yes it does. Tech support is mainly for fixing errors or guiding folks to various help files. Changing their forums can be done with various skins, but i'm not looking for a new fixed skin, just a tweaked new and unique look to match the theme of the site.

I certainly don't want a forum as bland and as 1970's in appearance as this one that TV uses (no disrespects guys). You see, when you have a new project it's crucial to be mindful that there's never a second chance to make that first impression to new visitors, and so 'just another bog standard forum' won't cut it ;)

Anyhow, I might have found my man at last. He's in Canada and has 6 years full-time experience working with vBulletin. Let's hope he delivers because this is forum Guru #3 and it all starts to get a bit costly after a while :(

Cheers

I hope this crap never catches on here.  Once in England some kids pelted me with eggs when I refused to give them any money.  One caught me dead in the eye, almost blinded.  This is just another big commercial enterprise  import from America.
If it does catch on here, you can guarantee it'll be drowned out by fireworks like most other festivities, which are far more dangerous than a few rotten eggs getting slung around. That's providing they don't catch you on the pointed end of course, in which case they might as well be small rocks!

In my day, a typical 'trick' I used to play on grumpy old gits, i.e. those who wouldn't even give a small treat like a plain biscuit, was to pick up dog's sh*t on the end of a stick and ram it through the letter boxes. I'm happy to say I soon grew out of such adolescent nastiness and haven't done anything like that for at least a couple of years now  :whistling:

But whatever your thoughts on it (talking to everyone here), it's not about you adults, it's about the kids, and any day that brings excitement, joy, and embeds fond memories into the minds of growing children can only be a good thing in my book.

In Topic: Vehicle Touch-Up Paint / Pen

Thanks for the replies folks.  I'll take a look around these places next time I'm in the malls.

Ref Nail Polish: You probably mean nail varnish KRS1?  I did think of that, and i also had a look around a number of stalls, but I couldn't find anything close to navy blue. But even if i had, i noticed these varnishes seem to be translucent so wouldn't really cover white chips properly anyway.

Cheers Guys

In Topic: Emergency Numbers To Call In Cm

I tell you a good contact to have, although I've never come across such a number, is for some kind or vehicle recovery service. Getting a puncture on a motorcycle while taking a lone tip around the Samoeng Loop, or the more isolated roads of Mae Wang for example, would certainly give a little piece of mind on such outings.

If anyone does happen to know of such a service, please pass on the details ;)
