English speaking is no problem, both PSI and NCS are good sources for that.

Spanish is a challenge. You might try contacting this woman http://www.jacquelynvalenzuela.com/ and asking if she speaks Spanish, she's American but has a Hispanic last name so might.

You rarely see a prescription in Thailand for the reason I mentioned -- the system as we know it in the West isn't really in place here. When you get a prescription filled at a hospital pharmacy, the script is contained in your medical file. As for how many tablets and refill options, that will depend entirely on what the doctor wrote. AFAIK with the ED drugs there aren't any limits on it.

I don't know in what form prescriptions to be filled outside are even written here, may just be on hospital letterhead, as I've never had or seen one, but it can be done.

Boots does tend to run a bit higher than regular pharmacies. On the plus side the fact that they stock it means they will fill prescriptions for it. but if you can, try a large pharmacy catering to Thais, or Fascino's. May cost a bit less.

Samitivej at Sukhumvit is where I prefer to go. definitely rate it above all others I have tried.

but in fairness I should note that I have not tried St Louis or BNH.

At Samitivej, ask for Dr. Phuchai or Dr. Anchana, they are both very thorough.

Basically any infectious disease specialist who trained/worked in the US is likely to be up on this.  Look for docs with Board certification in the US in infectious diseases obtained within the past 15 years and preferranbly not ones whose primary interest is HIV.

You might try Dr. Nick Walters at the Bkk Adventist hospital, US and UK trained and, has the name suggests, one of the few farang docs licensed to practice in Thailand.

90% of HPV infections are cleared by the immune system within a year of infection.

My sources say 24 months, and that data is from a study in the US women who were students at a private college, i.e. from a very affluent and health population whose immune systems are not subject to much stress. It  may not be fully applicable in less affluent populations.

In any case, some women will clear the infection and some will not. those who do not are at increased risk of cervical cancer. Women who repeatedly reinfect will likewise be more at risk.

Cervical cancer is the #1 most common cancer in women in Thailand and directly linked to the high prevalence of HPV in this population. Which is why the Ministry of Public Helasth is seeking to introduce the vaccine.
