I cleaned out my son's closet and have many primary school textbooks, workbooks and other learning materials to donate to someone who could use them. They're in English and Thai, all in good condition.
Where can I take them ?

Laptop Battery Shop
2012-05-02 08:23:51
I'd like to buy a new battery for my laptop (Asus model X8AIJ).
I know Pantip or Fortune Town will have what I want SOMEWHERE, but any recommendations for specific shops and their LOCATION ? Any idea of what it will cost ?

Phnom Penh Embassy, Nearby Hotels
2012-05-01 08:40:48
Looking for recommendations of hotels near the Thai embassy in Phnom Penh..........
Also any info on requirements for multi-entry "O" visa, is it possible there ? I will be working intermittently in Cambodia and have family ("wife" and son) in Thailand. Can show employment contract requiring multiple visits, Thai son's birth certificate (but no marriage certificate), money in the bank, etc. That has sufficed before for multi-entry "O" in Hanoi and Colombo, but how strict is Phnom Penh ?

Cannot Disable "Protected Mode" In Office 2010
2012-03-14 14:05:18
I installed Office 2010 (on Windows 7) and now all my existing documents (most in Word97 or Excel97) format can only be opened in read-only mode !
Supposedly this is the default (what a stupid choice that is !) and it can be turned off, but the directions for doing so don't work. All the appropriate boxes were unchecked, Office apps closed, and I even rebooted the system, but the "fix" still doesn't work !!!!
Anyone else run into this screw-up by Microsoft ?
