Want To Buy House, 100 Metres From Condo Complex.

As the title suggests, I want to get my hands on an attractive property.

Only problem is a 7 building condo complex around 100 metres from the house...now under construction.

There's not much likelihood of noise, or in fact any other impediment.

Is a tenant/future buyer likely to be put off by a nearby condo?

Almost impossible to answer since everyone has a different opinion of what constitutes "unpleasant proximity"....but I'd be grateful for any opinions nevertheless.

Along with just about everybody else living in Pattaya, I am keenly aware of the potential to be zapped by an unearthed plug, device etc.
I have an Earth Leakage Thingy....but someone recently got a small shock from a water cooler.

I bought a steel rod, bunged it in the ground..problem solved.

It may be asking a bit too much to expect to find a Thai electrician who has any understanding of the merits of earthing, as opposed to the preferred option of pretending it's a waste of time.

If any kind soul has a guy who has done earthing...I would appreciate knowing his name, number.

It's time to tie the knot.
The Old Lady insists on getting decked out in a silk Thai weding dress.
There used to be one next to Tukcom carpark...it's gone now.
I'd apprecite any help...even of it's just a shop glimpsed from the window of a speeding Fortuner.

Cost Of 30 Year Lease, And Mortgage?

Can anyone enlighten me as to the approximte lawyer's fee to draw up a mortgage, and a 30 year lease on a house?

Are there any other costs..eg land office etc?
