Patong Beach Road..... Direction Change?

Has anyone any recent news on the change of direction for Beach Rd, Patong ? There seems to be many rumours as to when and to what extent.... will it be in June? Will it become 2 way (at least for some length) or just reverse direction from its current route?

What about Bangla Rd and the other 2 cross-block roads?

Any ideas?

A Firefly Avion de Regional Transport ATR-72-500, flight FY-3609 from Koh Samui (Thailand) to Kuala Lumpur Subang (Malaysia) with 70 passengers, was taxiing for departure when captain and second officer at the flight deck began to engage in a debate. While the aircraft lined up for departure on runway 17, flaps in takeoff position, shouting from the flight deck was heard in the passenger cabin.

Warships In Patong Bay

There are currently 2 Navy warships anchored in Patong Bay. The largest appears to be rather modern and arrives on the same day as the QM2 this week but stayed when she departed. The smaller is of a more conventional design and is over more to the Kalim side of the bay.

My eye sight is not good enough to read the letters on the hull and I don't have a pair of binoculars but would be interested to know whose they are.


Any one go any info?

Jacuzzi Jet System Cleaning

Jacuzzis, especially if frequently used, can prove to be a source of bacterial infection or at best a distubing feature when floaters of algae etc appear from the jets having developed in the pipes when not in use.

The system attracts body fat, hair and other unmentionables....pretty disgusting really.

Does anyone know of any product that is obtainable locally to get rid of this residue and maintain the cleanliness?

There are several out on the web but I need them here in Phuket.

Any other domestic products I can use??? I am reluctant to use untried chemicals in case I damage the bath itself.

Horseradish

Can anyone tell me if horseradish are available fresh in Thailand if so what is it called in Thai?

I am told it is ไม้จำพวกมะรุม 'Mah Loom' ? but images don't tie into what I am looking for.
