I wasn't aware they had a system for tracking all the spending of tourists in Thailand. No checkout girl/guy has ever asked me whether I am resident or visitor.

Maybe all shops have some advanced system of hidden cameras with facial recognition technology linked to the cameras that take your photo at immigration; or maybe they have a huge team of detectives following all tourists and itemising their purchases.

Amazing Thailand.

It is done by polling / surveys and not at the grocery store. Same as with political polls, Unemployment Figures, Neilson Ratings and so on.  You only need a small percentage of total people to get fairly accurate results but they of course are not going to be perfect and why you typically see a footnote saying there is a 3 or 4% margin of error.

I always was of the belief "the smaller the sample the less reliable the result unless the questions are BIASED towards the desired outcome" when in doubt select "C".

Flabberghasted!

There was I thinking that it was all a natural phenomenon, that it never rains on the plain and that the FROC were the new saviours of the universe.

I think most of us agree that it was all a perfect storm. Dams not at the right level, excessive rain in key areas, poor management, poor implementation of infrastructure over the years, no strategic planning of construction, deforestation, Yingluck's Burberry boots, a blue whale, several green mambas, escaped crocodiles, slum dwellers in the klongs, and that bloddy idiot plodprasop.

Anything makes you think things will change???

Ive had probably 6-8 HIV screening in the past years here, they run it for the whole list of crap you may have. Unless you have reason to doubt this relatively simple and straight forward test I would go with what the results say.

If you doubt them fly somewhere you trust and pay them 10x the amount to buy your feeling of safety. To say you have zero trust in anything Thai is to say that all Thais are lying in some way? Never makes sense to me why someone would continue to live in a country of people that are perceived to be liars. To each their own.

This is not ur standard antibody test ... as to the rest of it,  i never implied they would lie...it was meant to be an inquiry regarding aptitude / accuracy / diligence.

Thanks again to all who replied.  Sounds like accuracy of lab results shouldn't be a concern.

About 4/5 years ago had a lump removed and tested Dr here in Khon Kaen recommended deeper testing result MCL.

Went back to Oz where they carried out 3 months of intensive testing and I mean intensive result MCL.

So my 2 bahts worth is that in my experience the Lab Testing here was & is 1st class. in my case.

I reckon the people that voted for Suvarnabhumi were the people destined to use the shipment in the "

By the way, I bet that people would not be too quick to vote for suvarnabhumi if they knew that all the glass in the building (that includes all the stuff above above your head!) that is supposed to be tempered glass (that's what was paid for!) is in fact normal bog standard glass! If there was even a small explosion in there it would end up looking like the inside of a butchers shop.

If there even a whisper of truth in what you say then this is serious enough to "close" the bloody place down or are you just blowing hot air?

Did he make this statement before or after he had his daily ear medication?

Did you mean "ear" or it was a simple misspelling of "rear"?
