Travelling With A Child That Is Not Your Own

Hi,
We are currently living in Malaysia, my wife wants to bring her mother and her nephew (1 1/2 yo) to visit, does anyone know if this would be a problem. They both have passport but my concern is a young child (in this day and age) traveling without his parents.
If anyone has any info about this type of situation I would appreciate it.

One Year Marriage Visa

There seem to be a million posts on this topic but none that specifically answer my question. Excuse me but I am new to this subject.

I got a 1 year Marriage visa in Singapore 3 months ago and the 90 days expires this coming week.
I know I need to go to the nearest immigration office with my wife and report in and confirm my address but do I need to take any documents apart from my passport ?

Any help would be appreciated.
