^ This thread is more about TrueMove H, and their 3G service, rather than TrueMove, but I understand your need to vent.

I suspect you may have inadvertently been subscribed to one of the  Notification services like for the one offered for FaceBook updates? These may be 6 baht so with VAT 6.42 baht. Many, many people have been complaining about this. I think TrueMove will make restitution if you are persistent? It may go without saying that we all should probably look at our bills, statements, accounts occasionally, but I understand TrueMove may not proactively offer detailed account statements, not so much out of a nefarious plan, but solely based on incompetence. There is a reason, OK maybe a whole bunch of reasons, why they remain the #3 provider after all, and continue to lose money year after year. Posted Image

After you suggesting I look at TrueMove H I went and bought a compatable Galaxy Note. I went and applied to change to TMH, the 649 Baht package, They gave me the sim but said 2-3 weeks to change over ... keeping my number. So 5/6/12 is now the changeover date ... received the text a few days ago ... so will be about 3 weeks! So at present are still on my old sim and True package.

Yep ... On her Brand New Phone .... which actually is the 1st Android phone we have had.

She was impressed when I showed her what the App would do ... hope she remembers if she looses the phone ... hope not as it was 21000Baht. Galaxy Note and Direct from Samsung.

Now I wouldn't mind putting the Apps on Step-Daughters phone.

Actually it would be useful to see where my wife is as I don't like phoning here when she is driving as I not sure she can set up the Bluetooth yet ... another lesson later I think.

Ok so Mr  Kanagna ... can you help with suggesting an App .... thanks ... Hiding the App would make a 'phone finder' less likely to know about the App so he wouldn't remove it ... Hopefully

Today I downloaded Where's My Droid and Where's My Droid Commander. From my laptop I was then able to
1 ... make my phone ring   and
2 ... show my phone location on Google maps exactly ... that took 2-3 minutes.

Now I need a App to hide those two Apps ... I know how to change the name of an App, which I suppose is better than nothing ... anyone know how to hide an App ..... thanks

I have DTAC Post Paid, had it for years. It's now 59Baht/month plus tax which comes to 63.13Baht. No idea of how much/min but I very rarely go over the 59Baht.

Up until the last 'promotion' change the cost was considerably less. Of course my wifes phone bill is a little more.

Thanks JAS.  I'll ask those questions next time.  Will shop around this week, I can always take it over to Suratthani and have it painted there.  I might ask my girlfriend to speak with the Mitsubishi dealer there.
It's worth having the car re-painted as I will keep it until it's time to scrap it.  It only has 60k on the clock, hopefully I can get another 10 years from this motor.
I just had my step-daughters car resprayed ... My wife sorted it at 25000Baht, using a  2K paint at a company that she had used before. The job was OK and is guaranteed ... I think for the paint to stay on!!, it wouldn't do for me (but she can't even be bothered to wash the car nevermined apply some polish)  as I would have wanted a really deep shine. The guy doesn't have an oven.

Generally the more clear coats that are put on the more deep the shine. Companies tend to only put two clear coats on.

It's more expensive to change colour, so don't.

Generally speaking, you need to protect new paint well, either with a good wax or paint sealent ... I use Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealent. Don't let any bird deposit remain on the new paintwork.

You will probably find that a main dealer will have somewhere good to get body repairs done ... I know that some BMW dealers in Bangkok have their own places.

Ask to see work in progress and the finished job

Maybe have a goodle about car repainting ...good luck
